The Week That Was: Instagrammed #11

It’s been another busy week here, Little Mr and I have been out and about enjoying ourselves. Here’s our week that was Instagrammed #11.

Sunday 8th September

Blogged: The Week That Was Instagrammed #10 and 30 weeks old

Hubby and I took Little Mr swimming with our nephew and my Sister. We all enjoyed it and it was good to show hubby how Little Mr is enjoying being in the water. Little Mr also turned 30 weeks old!

Monday 9th September

I was spoilt today as my friend Lucy (who was my birth buddy from the Feb 2013 baby group) invited me along to a Spa Day she had been given for her birthday. After dropping Little Mr at his Nanny and Grandad’s house for a day of cuddles and fun, we went into Central Birmingham and enjoyed a morning of swimming, bubbles and steam then enjoyed a very yummy lunch in Brindley Place. We both found it really strange without our little ones but we got to enjoy an interrupted hot meal which was lovely. We then went back into the Spa and I had a facial whilst Lucy enjoyed a full body massage. Both fully relaxed we enjoyed a nice pot of tea and a shot of smarties! Yum!

Tuesday 10th September

Blogged: Are you going to the Baby and Toddler Show 2013?

Today we spent the day at home catching up on housework, Great British Bake Off and 24 hours in A&E. I don’t think we got dressed until late but I’m not apologising. I love lazy days snuggling with my baby boy who turned 7 months old today.

Wednesday 11th September

Blogged: Weaning Update 7 months

Little Mr and I went over to my Mom and Dads house today. We enjoyed having lunch with my Mom and our friend and Little Mr got to see his cousin K and Grandad came home early too so was able to have extra snuggles. Mom even cooked dinner for me too so that was a brucey bonus!

Thursday 12th September

After a fabulous second sleep, Little Mr and I went to our swimming class. We had fun today but Little Mr didn’t enjoy being dunked. He got upset and I’m pretty sure he called me ‘Mama’ in between the sobs. I didn’t dunk him again but he is gaining confidence which is great to see. After class, we went to Tesco to pick up an order of new clothes for the little one, he fell asleep just as we got there so enjoyed a cruise in the shopping trolley in his Britax car seat. Annoyingly, I missed an important delivery for the second time in two days by about 3 minutes so any plans we had for Friday are now cancelled until the delivery arrives!

Friday 13th September

Blogged: Making Space and Little Mr’s AW2013 wardrobe

Today we had a lazy day at home waiting in the house for a delivery. The postman bought us some fabulous parcels including one from Colmans and one from Natures Purest. Both to be reviewed later in the month. Little Mr enjoyed playing on his play mat and discovered himself in the mirror. He had great fun eyeing himself up and giggling away. The expected delivery came from our good friends at Britax. We’ll be reviewing the Britax Dualfix car seat over the next few months. Keep an eye out for our review of the Britax Baby Safe car seat coming soon. Later in the evening, hubby went to see friends and I stayed in and caught up with the Midwives programme. It always makes me cry, I’m not sure why I watch it.

Saturday 14th September

Blogged: Everything but the kitchen sink

Today I’ve been packing our suitcase and bags for our trip away to Majorca next week with Thomson Holidays. I’m super excited about it. The itinerary came through on Friday and it looks brilliant. We are going to have the best time. Shame hubby couldn’t come but I’m sure he’ll enjoy a week of peace and quiet without us. I hope I’ve packed everything we need.

So that was our week that was Instagrammed #11, it’s been another great week and I’m very much looking forward to sharing next week’s with you!
