Sorry we’re a little delayed with the meal planning post this week. I’ve been making some well overdue changes to the blog! Better late than never I guess.
This week we’re celebrating Olly’s 7th birthday and we’re on the countdown until half term. I’m looking forward to a more relaxed morning without a hectic school run and encouraging a 2 year old to move his legs faster in the hail and rain.
Next week I’m in Bude with my Parents and Sister as we try and tidy up our cousins property. We’ve done the majority of work inside the property but we need to tackle the outside now. The weather isn’t looking too promising though so we’ll see how we get on. We’re eating at a pub restaurant with my Aunty and Uncle who will be there too so it’ll be good to see them, despite the circumstances.
What’s on the meal plan this week
This week we’re eating;
- Campfire Stew
- Jacket Potatoes with salad
- Spaghetti Bolognese
- Chicken Kiev with actifry chips and salad
- Mayflower Chicken Curry with rice
Slimming World Week 5 update
This week at weigh in the scales showed I had lost 1.5lb. Making that 15.5lb in 5 weeks. I’m now not going to be weighing in until a week on Saturday as I’m away and I’m going to try and get a loss at least. With Olly’s birthday celebrations we had a meal out at Pizza Express (I did have the lower calorie, Leggera pizza but it’s still off plan) and Olly’s treat dinner on his birthday was Domino’s. It’s not ideal, but it’s a treat and we don’t have it very often. Your first born is only 7 once!
As with previous weeks, I’m linking up with Katy Kicker and her Meal Planning Linky. If you want more ideas and meal inspiration from other foodies, head over to Katy’s blog.
