Meal Planning Monday

I seriously cannot believe it is June already! Where is the year going? It’s the final half term in school and I’m sure I’m not the only one who counts down the year via school holidays! Only 8 weeks to go until I break up for a couple of weeks of holiday and I get to spend some time with my boys. I cannot wait!

So back to school, back to the routine we know and love are used too! We’ve not got much planned this week apart from my friends wedding at the weekend so we are very excited to get this week out the way so we can celebrate with our friends.

The meals on the menu planner this week include:

Oven roasted Gammon, butternut squash chips (for me) / mash and vegetables
Slow cooker mayflower curry with rice and vegetables
Pork Souvlaki (from last months SW magazine) with salad
Chicken chow mein stir fry
Sausage, mash and vegetables
Chilli meatballs with basmati rice

Last week we tried out a couple of the meals from our Riverford food box. You can see my full review here and although there was no doubting the quality of the meat and produce, the meals weren’t diet friendly for me especially and weren’t particularly family friendly either.  I still cannot get Little Mr to eat soup, he’s just not a fan!

What are you eating this week? Will you be glad to get back into some sort of routine now the children are back in school?

As usual, I’m linking up with Mrs M’s Meal Planning Monday. Would love to see you link up!

  1. These meals look fab again Emma. I need to start using my sw book more – we seem to be stuck in a rut with our meals and we’ve got 3lb of chicken to eat from the butchers this week, so I will need to be creative with that. Sausage and mash is my fave !! Yum! Have a good week lovely xx

  2. I really don’t know where this year is going, Great meal plan as always, the butternut squash chips with gammon sounds lush x
