Since all my friends seem to be having babies right now, I am most definitely at ‘Broody Central’. Of course, I am delighted to see so many new little ones making their safe arrivals and of course, I LOVE buying new baby clothes so when the team at Marks and Spencer asked me if I wanted to create my very own Baby Clothes Bouquet I jumped at the chance.

It’s actually not that difficult to make a baby clothes bouquet and it doesn’t take that longer either so if you’re looking for a fab gift for a newborn this could be right up your street. You can follow these fantastic step by step instructions and you might even want a hospital bag checklist for expectant Mums.

What you need..

– One newborn baby starter set
– Gardening sticks
– Elastic bands or string
– Pretty tissue paper to wrap them in

How to..

Start off with folding the adorable baby clothes in half to create a fold. This will form your petals when all wrapped up.

Wrap the clothes tightly around a gardening stick as to create a flower head.

Secure with elastic or string

Arrange the clothes into a bouquet

Decorate with foliage or real flowers

Wrap in a pretty piece of tissue or wrapping paper

Voila!

Your very own handmade baby clothes bouquet perfect for all those new arrivals. Not only will the bouquet look very clever, your friend can then unwrap the clothes from the bouquet and admire all the beautiful newborn clothes you’ve gifted her.

If I’m honest, I can’t promise I’ll end up giving this gorgeous bouquet away to a friend for their baby. I’m really not sure if any of them will fit into them to be honest *wink* (I might be keeping it for a future Shilton baby, most definitely not an announcement by the way, just wishful thinking!)
