Can you believe how quickly five and a half weeks have gone? For us in the Shilts household, it meant that Little Mr could spend all day with his Daddy, not just a few hours in the early evening. It’s been great for hubby to see him throughout the day and for me to share an insight into what our daily routine is like as the weekend tend to be different than weekdays.

We’ve had an absolutely awesome Summer. We’ve crammed so much in. There’s been the trip to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to watch the Athletics, a tour around Wembley Stadium taking in the view from the Royal box, two absolutely brilliant weddings watching our lovely friends get married and enjoying their special day with them. We’ve driven over 1,000 miles on our caravanning holiday to Norfolk checking out the beaches, the market towns and general sightseeing. Little Mr has taken part in another modelling shoot for a well known baby brand, hubby and I have enjoyed our 6th wedding anniversary and we’ve started to wean Little Mr as he continues to grow at an alarming rate with two teeth popping up within 2 weeks of each other. There’s been a trip to Bescot Stadium to see hubby’s heroes in the flesh and the lovely footballers I met last year signed Little Mr’s photo book, the Cosatto street party and we’ve had lots of fabulous playdates with family, friends and the lovely ladies and babies from my February 2013 birth group.
Wow. All in all, it’s been a pretty amazing summer holiday and one that I’ll never forget spending it with my Little Mr and hubby by my side. And there’s more fun to come, watch this space!

That’s a lovely idea Hayley thank you, think I’ll look into doing that. I did one for Little Mr’s first few months and my pregnancy so might do another one for 3-6 months and include his first beach holiday x
What a summer! Lovely photos too. Your son is so cute and photogenic. Such a cute smile x
