It’s no secret that we are big fans of The Essential One clothing. The clothing is made from the softest cotton and the designs are always adorable. We were recently sent the Tiny Bear Dungaree and Body Suit for Freddie to wear and not only is it hugely practical, it’s just beautiful.
The two piece outfit consists of a long sleeve plain white bodysuit with pale blue coloured trim around the neck, legs and cuffs and patterned dungarees. The bodysuit has poppers (around both sides of the neck and between the legs) for easy access and nappy changing which is essential with little ones. The bodysuit also has integrated scratch mitts. I love integrated scratch mitts and The Essential One have them stitched in to their body suits and sleep suits in sizes up to 18 months. No matter how well I cut Freddie’s fingernails he always manages to mark his face with a rogue sharp corner of his nail somehow.
The dungarees feature a cute bear face pattern with the words BEAR. The Essential One characters are so adorable and make beautiful features on their clothing. The dungarees have a blue coloured pocket on the front and have cross over straps at the back which are fastened by poppers. There are two sets of poppers on the straps which allows for growth, I think this is a brilliant feature. Thee are also poppers to the side of the dungarees which again, allow easy access to the child when undressing as are the poppers along the legs for easy access for nappy changes.
As with all The Essential One clothing, the attention to detail is impeccable with TEO labels at the back of the outfit. Everything is well sewn together and the quality of the fabric is really lovely and perfect to put next to babies skin.
Two piece set
The dungaree set can be worn three ways; both pieces together as a set or individual pieces on their own.
