Nursery Interiors from The Essential One // Review

When I found out my favourite baby clothing brand, The Essential One, were launching their very own nursery interiors range last month, I was very excited! I adore their clothing with their adorable cute little designs and the highest quality and super soft fabrics, I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for us with their new interiors range. 

Freddie is now ten weeks old (sob!) and although he’s still in his co-sleeping crib at the side of our bed, it’ll soon be time for him to go into his cotbed across the other side of our bedroom. Living in a small two bedroomed terraced house, Freddie will be sharing a room with his older brother in a year or two but for now, he’s staying in with us.

The Essential One just last month, launched their new range of Nursery interiors. There are 5 new collections including Bunny and Bird, Love Makes a Family, Fox and Owl, Mono Spot and Little Birdy. Within each collection there’s a cot / cotbed quilt or coverlet, cot / cotbed bumper, cotton baby blanket and cushions. Each of the collections are different with each one featuring one or two of the signature ‘friends’.

Fox and Owl

We were sent the new Fox and Owl collection of nursery bedding and as expected, it is gorgeous. The Fox and Owl range is bright and colourful, perfect for any little ones nursery (or side of the room in our case!) The bumper, coverlet and decorative owl cushion all feature the most delicate hand embroidered and appliqué detail, they really are brilliant quality and so cute! I especially love the hand embroidered phrase  on the coverlet as that’s the quote I often say to both my boys.

Safety first

Whilst Freddie isn’t sleeping in the cotbed just yet, he’s been making himself at home whilst I potter around upstairs. The Essential One always have our little ones best interests at heart and all their range complies with British Safety Standards so it’s important to mention that the coverlet isn’t suitable for little ones under the age of 12 months and the bumper must be removed from the cot area when a child can sit unaided. Luckily, Freddie is going nowhere at the moment but it’s well out of his way whenever he’s in the cotbed.

I just adore the whole collection. It’s beautifully made, the detailing is really nice and the colours used together are brilliant. We’ve been using the blanket in Freddie’s pushchair and it’s kept him really cosy and warm. As it’s got such a wonderful range of colours on it, it goes with practically everything.

Good to know

The whole range of nursery bedding is machine washable at 40 degrees so you can keep it clean when in use. The range is suitable for European and UK cot / cotbeds and complies with British Safety Standards.
