Reading is a big part of all of our lives.  Ever since the boys were born, we have made reading a daily occurrence, and we have read stories to them both every evening almost without fail.  It is an important part of our night time routine, and whilst the books may change in length and subject over the years, the enthusiasm for reading is high.  We know how important it is for our boys to have a love of reading.  So when we were sent two wonderful personalised books from ‘In the Book’, based on some of the boys favourites, we were delighted to add them to our collection.

Bringing stories alive through personalisation 

‘In the Book’ is a fantastic concept that brings books alive through personalisation.  The books contain wonderful stories on a range of popular themes and topics.  Freddie was absolutely delighted to receive a Paw Patrol personalised story book, and it was beautifully packaged and presented in a foiled gift box. 

Freddie has loved Paw Patrol since he was a toddler, and his face lit up when he opened his book.  He even spotted the initial letters of his name, and when he found the photograph of himself that we had uploaded, he was amazed to find himself in the book!

Olly was also really pleased with his book all about space.  He is very keen on anything to do with space and space travel just now, so his personalised book was also met with delight.  The books are both of very high quality, and Freddie’s contained some lovely stories that he enjoyed hearing at bedtime, whereas Olly’s book is very factual and enabled him to immerse himself in all things space related.

A book for everyone 

‘In the Book’ has over 100 books in their range and can personalise any fiction or non-fiction book in their collection for your child.  There’s Disney books, Marvel books, Peter Rabbit and Spider Man amongst some of the most popular books to personalise. Our boys loved finding their names on the different pages, and the pictures are fantastic for bringing the words to life.

Our two lovely books have been a wonderful addition to bedtime here.  Both boys have asked for the books to be read, and Olly particularly has spent various evenings reading his book, absorbing all the fascinating facts. Freddie loves pointing out the different Paw Patrol characters to us and he interacts with the stories as he listens with a big smile.

We are so pleased with our ‘In the Book’ creations, and we want to encourage our boys to keep a love of reading for pleasure.  If your children have a similar love for reading, or even if they are quite reluctant readers, a personalised book on a topic of their choice will be sure to make them smile.
