It’s Christmas Eve and the magic and chaos is about to unfold. It’s Olly’s 7th and Freddie’s 2nd Christmas and I can’t wait to see how they both react to all the festivities over the next couple of days. Last year Freddie wasn’t really sure what was going on but this year he’s got a bit more of an understanding and Olly is still very much a believer.
Christmas is family orientated for us and we’ll be spending quite a few days with both of our families. We’re looking forward to enjoying good food, playing games, exchanging gifts and spending time with everyone. I’m in no doubt at all that it’s going to be busy, it’ll be a little stressful at times with a cranky one year old who refuses to go to sleep and I’m sure Olly is going to be hyped up with all the excitement too!
We have sent a few Christmas cards this year (despite losing my address book in the office move!) and these photographs are the ones our family received on our Christmas cards. I love looking back at photographs like this and I hope our family do too. They were taken by Sarah Bartleet Photography, she took the boys photographs last year too.
I’ve added the text and I think they’re beautiful photographs and I’ve already had them printed off on acrylic blocks to dot around the house like I did last year.

All that is left for me to say is wishing you all a very Merry Christmas however you spend it and whoever you spend it with, I hope it makes you happy and full (of food, drink, love and gratitude).
I’ll be thinking of those who we’ve lost this year too and raising a glass of something bubbly in their honour.
