All aboard with the BRIO Travel Station Set // Review (ad)

One of the best toys Olly has ever been given is his BRIO. BRIO is simply a wooden train set of toys that you can buy sets of to build up a wonderful collection. Since Olly was given his first set of BRIO on his first Christmas and every year since, we’ve added to his collection with a new set. Five years on, it’s still one of the most played with toys in our house. Olly was recently sent the BRIO Travel Station Set and he has loved playing with it. 

The BRIO Travel Station Set consists of 25 pieces including train track, two bridges, a travel station and parking area along with a blue bus, a green train and a red tram. There’s also a couple of people to play with; a train driver and a passenger complete with luggage.

Travel Set to be used on its own or with other BRIO sets

The set is brilliant. On it’s own it can be built into a looped railway that allows the trains to travel up and over the bridges and down back into the station. One of the best thing about BRIO is that it is completely compatible with the rest of the BRIO range and before you know it, you’ll have a BRIO town that is taking over the living room (or is that just in our house?).

Olly has really enjoyed building the travel station. He loves to make up little stories about the people and it’s brilliant to see him getting so involved in it and seeing his imagination come to life. That’s one of the best things about BRIO, it’s simple, is easy for little ones to play with, easy to build with and allows them to be as creative as they wish.

Durable and long lasting

BRIO is aimed at children aged 3+ but in my experience, once they’ve started to build their BRIO collection it’ll become a favourite of the whole family. My husband still has his very own BRIO set at his Parents house that Olly plays with when he’s there. It’s timeless, brilliant quality and can be played by everyone. We’re huge BRIO fans!
