So a little later in the week than I had planned but the days are flying by for us. It’s the second week of the school holidays currently and my husband is still on annual leave. It’s been a very odd few weeks, we’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden and trying to entertain the boys with daily walks, crafting and colouring as well as relaxing a few screen time restrictions. If we don’t occupy their time, they just want to eat everything!

What’s on the meal plan this week
- All Day Breakfast
- Burger and Actifry Chips with salad
- Gammon, Wedges, Sweetcorn and Peas / I’ll have mine with lots of salad
- Chilli Mac & Cheese / Boys will have pasta
- Sausage and Mash with beans
- Chicken Curry and Rice / Pizza for the boys
We’ve been trying to get the boys to eat more meals that we can all enjoy together but it’s still a struggle. Our two year old has decided he doesn’t like a lot of his favourite foods which is annoying as he point blank refuses to eat them so we’re having to adapt food we have in to make him eat it.
Slimming World Update
Slimming World is still on the cards but I’m not following the plan religiously. At the moment, we can’t afford all the fruit and vegetables we used to have in and obviously we can’t keep going to the supermarket for things that lose their freshness quickly. I’m trying my best where I can but I’m finding it really tough.
I’ve signed up with my Slimming World consultant to have a weekly Zoom meeting with access to the SW directory and all the benefits I used to have as a weekly member. It’s definitely helping me focus but I can feel I’m putting weight on with not being as active and having the boys around eating all the snacks all of the time!
I’m trying not to get too hung up about it all, there are worse things going on in the world right now and I can always get back on track when we are allowed to get out and about again.

Your week sounds lovely. I am really into breakfast style melas for main at the moment
Yummy meal plan! I would happily eat everything on there.
With so much going on my eating habits are terrible at the minute but like you say, its harder to get fresh stuff without going out too much at the minute so we are doing the best we can.
