As a family we love to make memories. We love to spend time with each other, experiencing new things and seeing new sights. One of the countries around the world that we would love to visit is America. It’s such an enormous country that we would have to visit the country on several occasions to see everything on our travel bucket list. Our first destination in America we would love to visit is Florida.
Florida attractions on our world travel bucket list
Walt Disney World Resort
One of the main family Orlando attractions that we would all love to visit is Walt Disney World Resort. We are big Disney fans and would love to visit the parks there. There would be so much to see and experience. There’s 4 theme parks; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Additionally there are 2 water parks; Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. They all have different things that we would love to see and the atmosphere amongst the parks is said to be magic and one of the best atmosphere’s in the world.
Universal Studios
We would also love to go to Universal Studios. We love to watch movies so it would be incredible to soak up the experiences there. The rides and attractions at Universal Studios are amongst some of the most highly rated in the world and we’d love to see them first hand. It has two incredible parks, Volcano Bay, it’s waterpark, CityWalk, it’s lively entertainment complex and lots of other movie themed areas including Harry Potter. We would definitely be booking Universal Studios tickets for the family when we travel to America.
Kennedy Space Center
Both my husband, I and our eldest son are massive space geeks. We love looking up for stars, have an interest in space travel and love watching films and documentaries that tell us more about the fascination of space. One of our must visit places on our bucket list is Kennedy Space Center. Known as the gateway to space, the complex is a must see with the Space Shuttle Atlantis on display. We would love to walk amongst the rockets in the Rocket Garden and see Saturn V Rocket up close. It would be a dream to visit.
Visit to the Everglades
Not all attractions in Florida are man-made and the Wild Florida Everglades are another attraction on our bucket list. The Everglades are made up of coastal mangroves and sawgrass marshes that are home to hundreds of animal species. Among the Everglades’ abundant wildlife are American crocodile, the endangered leatherback turtle, Florida panther and West Indian manatee.
Florida is a destination that is on our bucket list, we just need to save up our money to get there one day. What’s on your bucket list?
