The last month has been a good one for these lovely boys of mine. We had a great half term seeing family and friends, we took a family road trip up to Blackpool to see the Iluminations and we had fun at BRICKLIVE in Birmingham.

Our Shilton Boys in November

There seems to have been a shift recently between them both; Freddie wants to play with his big brother and his toys and Olly’s letting him. It’s so heart warming to watch. Freddie is really trying hard with his talking recently, he’s trying to say lots of different words and is stringing sentences together. They’re not all words I can understand but I mostly know what he’s trying to say. His favourite sayings this month are “don’t know” and “yes please?” which are both very cute! He’s also very fond of saying no, which I’m not so keen on!

Olly’s had a brilliant month doing things he loves; playing with his LEGO, writing stories and playing on the Nintendo Switch. He’s a cheeky boy at home and his personality is brilliant. He’s very quick witted and he makes us laugh so much with his one liners.

I’m really looking forward to the next month with these boys of mine. We’re on the countdown to all the Christmas preparations and we cannot wait to put the tree up next month (it’s always a December thing for us!) with all the decorations. We’ve got a few Christmas events lined up and we’re taking the boys back to Cannock Chase to see Santa in his Grotto at Birches Valley. We took Olly back in 2013 during his first Christmas celebrations and it holds lots of lovely memories for me. I can’t wait to take both my boys back and walk through the trees to see Santa and his reindeer.

For now, we all still believe (in Santa) and I’m fully embracing this as I’m not sure how long until the bubble bursts. I’ll keep stringing out the magic for as long as I can. Next month I’ll show you our family Christmas cards with our annual siblings festive photograph, I cannot wait to share them, they’re adorable!
