Earlier this week, Boxclever Press launched their new season 2020/2021 stationery. I have been a user of Boxclever Press diaries, calendars and family planners for a few years now and we really love them. I was invited to take a look at their latest Family Life Book Diary and I couldn’t wait to share it with you and how it helps me keep organised with family life.
Family Life Book Diary

The Family Life Book Diary is a 16-month diary and spans from August 2020 until December 2021. It’s A5 in size which is ideal for keeping in a handbag or backpack. The diary has a really pretty design on the front with a foil design and it’s spiral bound. it’s easy to use as it lies flat and can be easily written in.
What’s inside?
The Family Life Book Diary is organised throughout with several sections for different thing. There’s a useful information section at the front with space for useful numbers, weekly routines, and planning pages for the year ahead. Next up, there’s the main week to view diary, budgeting and notes section, Christmas and holidays section and perforated shopping lists.

It’s a brilliant diary for Parents who have large families. As it will help keep on top of their social activities, appointments and commitments. The week to view format works well and the diary has 7 columns for each day. Therefore each member of the family has their own column. This is a brilliant feature as really helps me keep on top of all of school and group happenings.

I really like the budgeting and notes section as this is something I like to keep an eye on for my family. This section allows you to keep track of items that go in and out with spaces for amounts, details and balance.
Planning for Christmas and Summer Holidays
As with most families, we have to plan our finances for Christmas each year and this section of the diary is really useful. It has pages for Christmas plans, keeping an eye on the Christmas budget, ideas for Christmas cards and presents as well as list formats for Christmas shopping.

There’s also a really handy six week blank calendar for the summer holidays which parents can use to plan our the children’s summer break at a glance. This is a fantastic feature as seeing the six week holidays all on one page is really helpful for planning childcare, holidays and appointments.
My favourite features
My favourite features of the Family Life Book Diary include the perforated shopping lists at the rear of the diary. You can keep a running list of shopping needs throughout the week and then tear off the list to take to the supermarket with you.

I also love the handy little stickers that come with the diary. They’re brilliant little reminders for a huge range of appointments. There’s reminders for celebrations and important dates such as ‘back to school’ and ‘go on holiday’!

The pen loop and the elastic bandeau are great features too!
The diary also comes with a removable ‘Addresses and Contacts’ book which can be filled with family and friends details. This can then be removed from the diary once the year is out. There’s no need to re-write the addresses again. My what a time saver!
I cannot wait to fill the diary with all our important dates and celebration reminders. I’m one of those people that needs things to be written down if I have a chance of remembering them. This diary is so useful in so many ways.
If you’re looking to get organised when the children go back to school and life returns to some sense of normality, I really recommend getting this diary.
