Request for help?

Does anybody know how on earth I change my permalinks to the name of my web address plus the post name? eg. https://www.mrsshilts.co.uk/thenameofthepostiamcreating as for some reason it keeps coming up with my IP network address as 195.etc.etc I need to change it as it wont allow me to link my blog to others – am I being really thick? please help? thanks in advance {sig}
