I recently signed up to take part in a Pincushion Swap as organised by Hannah over at quirkyhannah. She allocated us swap partners and I was paired up with Sarah. Sarah is a very talented lady and you can see some of her lovely stuff here.
Here’s what Sarah sent me..
I love the pincushion! It will come in very handy with all my various projects, so thank you very much Sarah.
My sewing of late hasn’t been that great but I was determined to make something for my swap partner and ensure it gets delivered on time. So last weekend I decided to get the machine out and have a go at one of these, it’s called a Cathedral Window pincushion and I followed the tutorial from Moda.
Here’s how it turned out and I’m hoping my swap partner loves it;
I’m really pleased how it turned out and I’m hoping this is the beginning of me getting my sewing mojo back and sewing up some goodies for Christmas. I have far too much stuff so need to make use of it and if I can make a bit off money from it too, even better!
All in all, a fantastic swap! Thanks Hannah and Sarah
