I am so excited to be taking part in the lovely photography project that is The Me and Mine Project. I watched from afar last year at all the wonderful family photographs that were shot as part of the project but couldn’t really get any decent photographs of us all with my trusty iPhone. Now I have my fabulous new camera, I’ll be learning on the fly as I attempt to take some photographs worthy of joining in.

At the end of each month, I’ll be posting a family portrait of us all and I know it’ll be lovely to look back on as the year goes by. Little Mr will no doubt be growing into a gorgeous little boy and hopefully, I will be shrinking with my weight loss so who knows what we’ll look like in 12 months time.

So here we are, the Shilton family in January 2015

  5. Oh this is so lovely Emma, a great shot to be starting on. And I think on the fly is the best way to learn with a new camera, give yourself a challenge and it makes you learn I always think. And we are still learning with family portraits all the time, but always so glad to be taking them. Thanks so much for linking up with Me and Mine. x

  6. Great photo, your little boy is so cute. It’s a lovely project to join in on although I’m guilty of not completing it last year.
