Definitely not a model | Yours Clothing & BritMumsLive

Just before BritMumsLive I had written that one of my favourite plus size clothes retailers had very kindly sponsored an outfit for me to wear. This year I had wanted to feel comfortable and relaxed without looking like my Nan (sorry Nan) so I was delighted when I was able to scour the website of Yours Clothing for an outfit to wear.

This is what I wore on Day One of BritmumsLive 2014

Blue and White tunic with Indigo cropped jeans and pumps

I loved this outfit and felt brilliant in it until the moment when I asked my friend to take a photograph of me wearing it outside The Brewery. I’m definitely no model standing there all awkward and uneasy. I can’t wait to wear the tunic again though and really love the length of it, so much in fact next time I may just wear it with tights. The cropped jeans were a good fit and felt nice to wear. The pumps were brilliant as they are an EEE fit which is so comfortable for wide footed mamas like me!

I bought myself an outfit from Yours Clothing for day two of the event which I absolutely loved. It’s very feminine for me but I really liked how it looked on. I was self conscious of my muffin top though but can’t do much about that from showing.

 Peach and Teal Kimono with a Peach strappy vest and Black Jeans – slightly sloshed on the Prosecco! 

The outfit was a complete winner. I felt fashionable and my age without feeling frumpy. I’ll definitely be choosing more feminine clothes and colours in the future.
