My first ever quilt

I’ve been wanting to make a quilt for a while now and finally got round to getting some fabric ideal for a friends new baby boy. I’ve been reading this brilliant and very inspirational blog for a while now and tonight I thought I’d give it a go following Kari’s tutorial..

It’s not brilliant at all but it is pretty damn good (even if I do say so myself!) and I’m very grateful for the tweets of encouragement that I received whilst I was sewing it all together so thank you girlies. I’m going to wash it tomorrow and then wrap it up ready to be delivered. Any excuse for a cuddle with a newborn really! {sig}
