As a family, we do love a British seaside holiday, and visiting Great Yarmouth is somewhere we enjoy visiting. Great Yarmouth is on the east coast of Norfolk and is typically a half-hour drive from Norwich. Enjoy a trip on the water in Great Yarmouth

From the countryside to the seaside, there’s lots to see and will keep all the family entertained. Don’t forget to pop into the tea room for a slice of cake and a cup of tea before exploring the rest of the model village.

Situated within the Merrivale Model Village is the one of the original penny arcades. Cash in your modern day money in exchange for old penny tokens and you’ll be able to enjoy the vintage amusement machines. Home to the one of the largest vintage collections, you can enjoy the timeless one-armed bandits, play the simple allwin (flick ball) machines and laugh along with the “Laughing Sailor”. Go golf crazy at Castaway Island

No family holiday is complete without a visit to Crazy Golf. It’s fun for all the family as you try to beat each other around the course. Castaway Island, located on Marine Parade, is a popular and fun 18 hole crazy golf course. Walk the dog on North Beach, Great Yarmouth

If you’re looking to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches the east coast can offer then Great Yarmouth North Beach is a must visit. Situated between the north of the seafront and Britannia Pier, North Beach is perfect for dog walking at any time of the year. With it’s picturesque wide dunes, the beach is a family favourite.
