A traveller, when decides to visit a country, dreams to look for an all-in-one adventure place featuring misty moors to sandy beaches, up-to-date yachting experience to seaside villages, miles of stretched meadows to cottages. However, you may conclude by thinking that there is no such place in the world offering these adventurous experiences. Devon in the southwest of England, is an absolute must for any traveller to soak up the experience of the British seaside, the delicious gastronomy and the most incredible views. 

The county has so much to offer to its tourists that you would find no space for boredom. Devon is a real gem as it has a north and a southern coast. Beer and Lyme Bay

Beer is a seaside village in Devon featuring beautiful and small fishermen’s cottages. If you love fishing or eating seafood then, I cannot suggest any other place but beer. 

Dartmouth 

As the name suggests, this beautiful town is in the mouth of River Dart and has its name for its rich culture. It is a small-town yet offers exotic sceneries that a traveller is in look for. 

Dartmoor Moors 

In case you are a wanderer and love to find remnants then you can spend a day in this village without a second thought. It is stretched over a wide space therefore this place never gets busy or overcrowded. Therefore, my friend as a nature lover if you are looking for peace, silence, or tranquility then this is the place you need to visit to quench your thirst. 

Clovelly

Get yourself a nice pair of shoes before you travel to Clovelly as it is situated on a steep hill. It will give you a view of exotic beauty if Devon and you would not be able to resist the aromatic traditional Devon tea. 

Bantham beach 

Imagine what a perfect day it would be when you can enjoy a day at the beach with your pet dog, right? Dogs are permitted to roam on Bantham throughout the year but there are restrictions dog walkers should be aware of. Between 1st May – 30th December, dogs are not allowed to walk on the main beach. However, there is a large sandy area beside the estuary, otherwise known as River Beach, where dogs are welcomed at all times of year. 

Lynmouth Harbour

Welcome to the “little Switzerland of England”. This place unlike Switzerland does not feature mountains however the town itself rests on a steep hill. This town is perfect for hiking.
