My ‘ta-da’ kitchen blind moment…

 I bloody love this blind!

This is the project that my Mom and I started over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend and I finally got round to visiting B&Q today to get the last little bits to finish it all off. Hubby helped with actually attaching the baton to the wall and ta-da, there you have it, my gorgeous handmade dotty roman blind that finishes off the kitchen brilliantly.

To be honest, I’m not sure I’d make another one. It was a bit of a faff hand sewing it up and the pleats aren’t perfect but it has saved us a lot of money rather than buying a professionally made one. It’s in a fabric I love and I’ve even bought a mini dotty acorn for the cord pull.

Rather chuffed this evening.. {sig}
