Silentnight Safe Nights

When it comes to having a new baby, there’s not many essentials you really need; some warm clothes, somewhere safe to sleep, cosy bedding and the ability to shower them with lots of love and attention. With our baby boy due in 14 weeks, we’ve been getting some essentials ready for his arrival including these wonderful pieces from the new Silentnight Safe Nights Nursery collection.

Silentnight, the UK’s most trusted bed brand have recently launched their baby and nursery collection which includes a range of sleep bags, blankets, towels and bedding. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a selection of the new collection and I am really impressed.

Silentnight Safe Nights

First impressions count when it comes to products for babies and Silentnight certainly don’t disappoint, after all they do know the secrets to a great night’s sleep. The products in their Safe Nights collection all meet the best industry requirements, having been manufactured in OEKO_TEX certified factories, to reassure parents and carers that they have the ultimate seal in safety standards. All their products are made from breathable fabric which helps to prevent overheating ensuring babies have a safe and comfortable night’s sleep whilst they grow. Their products are also able to retain their shape and colour even after 50 washes (at least) which is good to know because lets face it, baby bedding is always going in the wash!

Introducing the Silentnight Safe Nights baby and nursery collection

I was sent the Silentnight Safe Nights Sleep Bag, the Bubble Fleece Blanket and Hooded Towel to take a look at and I cannot wait to use it for baby boy in January.

Silentnight Safe Nights

The Silentnight Safe Nights Sleep Bag is a 2.5 tog bag which is hypoallergenic with a hollowfibre filling and a 100% cotton cover. We loved using sleep bags when Olly was a baby so we’ll definitely be using this sleep bag when baby boy is big enough to use it (it’s useful to know that sleep bags shouldn’t be used if the child’s head can pass through the neck hole when the sleep bag is fastened). The sleep bag comes in two colour ways; pink or grey stars on a white background and is available in two sizes; 0-6 months (rrp £18.99) and 6-18 months (rrp £23.99). I love the simple but effective detailing on the sleep bag. There are extra underarm poppers to ensure a snug fit and when the zip is fully fastened there’s a fabric covering to protect baby’s neck and face.

I love this snuggly Silentnight Safe Nights Bubble Fleece Blanket (rrp £13.99). It is so soft and cosy. Ideal for keeping little ones warm. The bubble star design is subtle and one sided with a fluffy fleece on the reverse. It’s made from 100% polyester, sized 70 x 90cm and is available in either grey or pink.

The bubble blanket will be ideal for providing extra warmth for baby if needed of an evening and will be great for when we are travelling in the car or go for walks in the pushchair.

Silentnight Safe Nights

Further to the Safe Nights bedding range, Silentnight have released a hooded towel (rrp £13.99) which is wonderfully soft and fluffy. Made from 100% cotton, the towel is perfect for getting baby snuggly warm and dry after their bath. I really love hooded towels as it’s so important to keep little ones head warm when they get out of the bath and these are brilliant for doing that. I love the star design on the hood which is in keeping with the rest of the collection.

I cannot wait for baby bath times. I remember Olly loved going in the bath, splashing his little legs and waving his arms around. I’m sure Olly will be very hands helping out with his baby brother.

Silentnight Safe Nights

The new Silentnight Safe Nights baby and nursery collection is really lovely. I love the simple star design that’s featured throughout the products, they’re super soft and snuggly with baby’s best interests at the heart of their designs. The collection would be perfect to kit out a new baby’s nursery or individual pieces would be lovely as a gift for new parents.

There’s a new Silentnight Sleep Club launching soon for all those Mummy’s and Daddy’s having to endure the sleepless nights for night feeds and nappy changes. It’s going to be a hub full of advice, support and community. I’ll definitely see you there in January! You can find out more here  and buy your own from the Amazon store here.
