Last week, I was invited to take part in a virtual bloggers event with Moonpig. As a blogger, I often get invited to events where we meet the brand and they introduce us to their products. Well given we were in lockdown and meeting in person is not possible, a virtual event was arranged. Using the latest zoom technology and products sent to us prior to the event, we met virtually online for a fun evening making Moonpig personalised cards, flower arranging and a cocktail masterclass.

Moonpig cards for all occasions

The evening started with an introduction to Moonpig and their Moonpig app. The app is available on both iOS and Android and it’s very easy to download (you can download it here). The app is a fantastic way of creating personalised greetings cards to send to your friends and family. There’s over 10,000+ choices of cards to choose from within the app so there’s plenty of choice. There are some excellent new features available on the app, including the option of being able to see the size of the card you design in virtual reality in your own home (available on iOS only), how cool is that!

They’ve introduced some brilliant cards ideal to keep your friends and family smiling during lockdown and we went through the personalisation process which was very simple and easy to do. I’ve been a customer of Moonpig’s for a number of years so it was good to hear that they’re always striving to keep the ordering process simple whilst offering their customers the latest trend in cards.

Cocktail Masterclass with Mix & Twist

Did you know you can buy gifts online to send with your cards direct from Moonpig? I didn’t realise their gift selection was so extensive; you can send alcoholic drinks (including the gin we were sent to use in our cocktails), fudge and chocolates, flowers and beauty gifts to name just a few. It’s never been easier to send a gift to your family or friends.

We were sent a bottle of Silent Pool gin to use as a base for our cocktails plus all the accessories and ingredients we needed to make 3 different cocktails. James from Mix and Twist took us through each cocktail step-by-step and I had an absolute blast. It was so much fun. We created a Gin Garden, Elderflower Collins and a Strawberry Gimlet. They were delicious and I’m hopeful I’ll be able to recreate them in the future.

Moonpig flower arranging masterclass

Until recently I didn’t realise you could send flowers with Moonpig. My parents celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary during lockdown so I sent them a beautiful bouquet through the Moonpig app to let them know we were thinking of them. They were already beautifully presented so all my Mom had to do was unwrap them and pop them in a vase with water (plus the flower food) when they arrived.

Prior to the event we were sent a beautiful bouquet from Moonpig for the flower arranging masterclass. We were sent their Luxury Rose & Peony bouquet, which was absolutely beautiful. Our flower arranging masterclass was run by Roxanne who gave us some top tips on how to arrange our flowers and get the best from them for longer. I really enjoyed the masterclass and the company as everyone else arranged their bouquets in the virtual event.

I had a really lovely evening with Moonpig at their Virtual Blogger Event. It was such a brilliant inclusive event and one that I’m pretty sure everyone taking part really enjoyed. Thanks to the Moonpig team for inviting me!
