After my first Slimming World weigh in of the year being not as successful as I had hoped (you can read about it here) I came away from group feeling really determined. I knew exactly what I needed to do to get back on plan and was eager to get the week underway and make the week count.
The first thing I did was plan and prepare for the week ahead; we made a meal plan and stocked the fridge along with some saviours including fruit, synfree snacks (crustless quiche and chicken drumsticks) and yoghurts. I decided to take it one day at a time and deal with the day in hand. Making wise choices and making sure I drank plenty of water. I’ve been using a new notebook as my food diary and I deliberately chose one of the notebooks I’d been saving (I save all the best stationery for super VIP stuff) as I figured I wouldn’t want to waste it; I’ve been filling it in every day and so far so good!
I’ve also been sharing my meals over on Instagram and it’s really helped me focus. I’ve posted every meal including what I’ve used my syns on (mainly Dairy Milk Chocolate Buttons) and the SW Instagram community is so supportive. I’ve also been speaking to the lovely ladies I met at the Slimming World HQ bloggers Christmas lunch. They’re an amazing bunch of ladies and they are hugely inspiring. I’ve been able to get to know more about them and their weightloss journey’s and I am so inspired by them. I really want to get to a lot of weight off this year and I think I can do it!

Last week was a good week on plan and I lost 7lb!

It’s been a good week and I know I lose so much because of my poor diet over Christmas and New Year, I doubt I’d lose the same amount if I ate the same foods as above in a second week. However, all the meals above are all Slimming World friendly and great to eat on the Extra Easy plan. I’m feeling very motivated to have another good week so let’s do this!
