Pines and Needles Christmas Tree review

When December comes around, I get ever so slightly giddy that it’s officially acceptable to put up the Christmas Tree and decorate the house with Christmas decorations. There’s twinkly lights and garlands, festive candles and advent calendars galore but my most favourite time is when we all get to decorate the Christmas Tree and the festivities can begin.

I’ll put it out there. I really love a real Christmas tree.  Having grown up near a forestry commission for years it was tradition to go and find one and bring it home with the family. Sadly since I don’t live near these days, we have to look elsewhere and Pines and Needles have the answer. You can order a tree online and get it delivered.

Pines and Needles Christmas Tree review

We reviewed the Pines and Needles Christmas Tree service last year and we were delighted with it and have been fortunate enough to have received another beauty again this year. We were sent a wonderful 6ft Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree and stand which is absolutely perfect to stand in the front of my lounge in the bay window.

It was delivered on the first day of December and arrived wonderfully scented as real trees do. If you’re local to London, Pines and Needles will personally deliver your tree but if you’re elsewhere in the country, a courier will deliver the tree for you.

This year both Olly and I decorated the tree with our decorations, trinkets and memories. It’s so lovely to get the baubles out and adorn the branches of the tree. We’ve gone for a red and festive theme this year which in a broader sense means if it’s Christmassy it goes on the tree, that’s my three year olds logic anyway! My husband came home from work and finished off the tree by placing the star on the top as the final decorative touch.

Our tree has been up and in place for just over a week now and it’s looking beautiful, we have had lots of lovely comments about it which is nice. I was slightly concerned about how long the tree would last in a warm house for over a month but it seems to be holding up well so far.

Personally, I don’t think we’d ever go back to having anything other than a real Christmas Tree. There’s something rather magical about a real Christmas tree and hopefully will stand as part of our family Christmas traditions for many a year to come.

You can find out more about the Pines and Needles Christmas tree delivery service by visiting their online site here and check out their wonderful range of Christmas decorations too. Make this Christmas one to remember.

Quote code A43871R167399 with your order and you’ll get a free mini Christmas tree for the kids!

Disclosure: Thanks to Pines and Needles for providing us with a beautiful tree to review. All words and opinions are my own.
