Slimming World’s Meals for One recipe book

I absolutely love recipe books, I especially love Slimming World recipe books as they’re jam packed full of ideas and foodie inspiration and as a loyal member, I’ve always bought the latest book for new meals inspiration and they’re a brilliant price too, usually less than a fiver which is incredible value.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw in our group the new Slimming World’s Meals for One recipe book and having looked through the book, it had some fantastic recipes in there. I was absolutely delighted when Slimming World sent me my very own copy of the recipe book. How fab is that?

Aside from all the meal inspiration, the book specifically focuses on meals for one. Luckily for me, my hubby has always been very supportive and will happily eat meals that keep me on track but I know a lot of members who follow the SW plan and don’t have the same support. A lot of the recipes in the other SW books are designed for families of four so unless you’re going to batch cook or share the meal with someone there’s going to be a lot left over.

The Slimming World’s Meals for One recipe book has 60 recipes created especially for one person. The quantities in the recipes are perfect for those who aren’t sure what portion sizes they should be eating on plan and the recipes are great for when you just need to cook for yourself.

My favourite recipes in the book are jerk chicken with rice and peas, eggy chip bake and breadless mediterranean chicken wrap. My hubby has eyed up a lot of the recipes in the book and as he’s following the plan with me, I’m sure we’ll be doubling up the ingredients and cooking for two!

    I currently follow the Slimming World plan, and yes I do a lot of bulk cooking to stock up the freezer, sometimes it’s nice to have a bit of variety and make meals just for one without having to freeze the rest of it

    As a student following the slimming world plan, cooking meals for one is often something that ends up being a very repetitive diet (pasta!) and this recipe book will definitely help me stick to plan ❤️

    I’m new to Slimming World and I started with so much enthusiasm and it’s working for me. However my partner works a lot of nights so I’m batch cooking meals for 4 and freezing them which means that my meals are getting a bit repetitive. I’m scared that I’ll lose motivation but I need to do this to get back to the size I was prior to my little girl being born prematurely. While she was in hospital I spent 16 weeks eating junk as I practically lived at the hospital and I hate how much weight I gained. The meals for one book would be perfect for keeping my motivation up and getting me back to my normal, health and happy self. Glad I stumbled across this blog x

    I have always been totally curious about the SW diet – it amazes me that you can still combine all your favourite foods in a meal. I really do need to try it out at some point!

    I only joined SW 2 weeks ago and have pushed myself everyday,lots of walking and eating so much healthier.
    Today I was ‘Slimmer of the week’ and have lost 12 1/2 lbs in 14 days.
    I am totally over the moon !     I’ve been following the Clean & Lean diet, which works wonders but is very expensive with some of the more exotic ingredients. My husband works late so I usually end up cooking just for me so this book looks perfect.
