It’s no secret that Olly is a huge Thomas and Friends fan. He loves all to watch it Thomas on the television, he loves reading their books and he loves to play with his Thomas trains. When we were sent the Thomas and Friends Take-n-Play Jungle Quest toy I knew it was going to be an instant hit with Olly.

Features

The Thomas and Friends Take-n-Play Jungle Quest is a portable playset with a die-cast metal Thomas engine and an emerald cargo car. There’s lot of adventures to have with the Jungle Quest as the track weaves in and around the Jungle vines and there’s even a Gorilla for Thomas to conquer to take home the jewels.

The die-cast and the cargo car are attracted to each other via magnets so little ones can pull Thomas along the tracks with the jewels following behind or alternatively Thomas can push the cargo car around the tracks as the magnets repel each other.

Colourful adventures

The playset is double sided so little ones can play all around the set allowing for plenty of imagination and stories to be created.

There’s tunnels and pathways for Thomas to follow and Olly has really loved the rising track which he has repeatedly put the die-cast Thomas train on and lifted him up and down. The playset is really colourful and creates a fabulous mysterious adventure play space for little ones to enjoy.

Clear colour instructions

From my perspective, I really dislike toys that are a pain to put together with really unhelpful instructions. Luckily for me, the instructions for the Take-n-Play toy were in colour and all the toy components were given a letter so you could identify it. It took me about ten minutes to put the toy together and stick the stickers onto the appropriate parts. I found it easy to put together and appreciated the step-by-step instructions.

We’re on Team Thomas

Olly has really loved playing with the Thomas and Friends Take-n-Play Jungle Quest playset. He loves that he can pick it up and take it wherever he wants to play which is great as a portable playset.

I really like seeing Olly’s imagination coming alive when he’s playing with the playset and the Thomas train and the jewels. The playset would make a brilliant gift for all Thomas and Friends fans.
