Why do weekends go so fast?

This weekend has been brilliant. I’ve been able to get loads of sewing done and I’ve managed to finish my quilt top. I’d love to know what you think? I’m still undecided about what to do for the back of it as I don’t have enough of the fabric to make much of a design and I don’t really want to buy some more of it. I might see what solids I have stashed away.

Sorry about photo again, taken it on my Iphone!

This weekend we also went to the West Bromwich Albion home game against Blackpool. We had free tickets to the game and both my Dad and Father-in-law were also able to come along with hubby and I. It was a great afternoon and I’m so pleased to say that Albion won 3-2. Go Baggies!!

The diet is going well. I’m pointing everything and trying to eat bigger pointed meals so that there isn’t many points left for crap (mainly the leftover Quality Street choccies!!) Last week I only used 21 points worth but this week I seem to have used a few more. What do you do with your extra weekly allowance? Do you use it or leave it? I’d be interested in hearing what you do with yours.

Back to work tomorrow, why do the weekends go so fast?! {sig}

    extra points… well… this is the first time I have gotten into them – they covered my rear for a night of adult beverages with family and friends. But my good friend McKee (doesnt she have an AWESOME name?!!?) saves her extra points for a night out to dinner with the hubby or a family adventure! Hope that gives some perspective! xoxo
