Updating my blog design.. November 2014

I’ve been writing my blog for near on six years now and over the years I’ve shared snippets, details and overshared insights into my life as MrsShilts. I started out writing my blog as a record of me keeping on track with my weightloss. Through sweat, tears and sheer determination, I lost a lot of weight and was able to conceive our much wanted ‘BabyShilts’ who is now known as the very loveable and cheeky Little Mr. With all that, my blog design has changed too and I think it’s only naturally as we learn and grow our blogs that we want to make it look as attractive to readers as possible.

So to bring my blog up to speed with where my life is today, I asked the fantastic Helen of Ellie Illustrates to bring some life to my blog to design me a unique header to reflect me and my family.

I am absolutely blown away with how fantastic it is. I really love how Helen has taken my brief and turned it into a fabulous work of art. She’s so clever. I’ve even got a gorgeous new avatar which I’ll be using on my social media pages.
