This time next week we will be sunning ourselves (hopefully) on the Norfolk coast enjoying the undisturbed views of the North Sea, eating freshly caught fish and chips on the beach on our annual Summer holiday. I can’t wait. This will be Little Mr’s first family holiday. We’ve had a couple of breaks away before with him but nothing for a week and nothing in my Parents deluxe caravan with its own bathroom, TV and heater. Excited!
There’s a few things I definitely want to do on holiday and so I’ve been compiling my very own Summer 2013 holiday bucket list. Here’s what’s on the list so far
1) Eat fish and chips in the wrapping on the beach
2) Dip Little Mr’s toes into the North Sea (again) and take a decent photo
3) Enjoy locally made ice creams (I’m going for plural as I’m bound to eat more than one)
4) Go strawberry picking
5) Watch the sunset from the beach (I would say watch the sun rise but I’m not getting up THAT early!)
6) Go crabbing off Cromer Pier
7) Buy a postcard and send it home
8) Lie on the grass and watch the stars come out to play after dark
9) Take Little Mr swimming
10) Visit Norwich City Centre
11) Watch the seals play in the sea
12) Take a long coastal walk
13) Go beachcombing
14) Watch a couple of new DVDs with my hubby
15) Play crazy golf
16) Learn something new about the history of the area
17) Visit a local farm shop and buy freshly made burgers/sausages to cook on the BBQ
18) Melt marshmallows over the campfire
19) Make sand castles with Little Mr
20) Have lots of fun whilst taking lots of photos to keep as memories
What will you be doing this Summer? Have you made a bucket list? I’m hoping to tick at least half of these off and best of all, quite a lot of them are free!

This is such a lovely idea! My parents live by the sea (lucky things) and it was brilliant to visit last summer and take my then six month old into the sea for the first time. We have lots of photos! P.S. totally with you on number 15 :-)
That’s such a good idea Carie, I like the idea of playing in the rain, will add that to the list x
