As the year ends and a fresh new year beckons, I always love looking for new ways to get myself organised. As a rule I love to have a planner for my blog work and a family wall calendar to note down all our important dates, birthdays and the like but when I see new jazzy planners out there, I get a bit of stationery envy and love to have a plan to see how they could work with organising our busy lives. I was recently invited to take a look at the Life Designer Planner and to see how it could help us at home in getting a little bit more organised.

Life Designer Planner

The Life Designer Planner is a hard backed wire-bound book filled with pre-printed pages dedicated to all things organisation. Inside the planner is 16 laminated colour dividers; 12 for the months ahead and 4 additional dividers for lists, special dates, notepaper and stickers.

I love how the laminated colour dividers not only break up each month so that they’re easily accessible but you can write on them as well. Underneath the dividers are a collection of pre-printed papers for the month including a monthly budget planner, the month at a glance over two pages and then each week within that month has a double page spread with spaces for all the family.

The Life Designer Planner has a collection of really useful pages towards the end of the planner with a set of lists and some fantastic stickers to use throughout the planner.

The planner is really versatile and it’s a great size but not really suitable, in my opinion, to be carried around in a handbag as it’s a little bit too big for that. It would work really well in the home when organising the bills, remembering to send birthday cards and planning the week / month / year ahead with the family. I’ve been using the Life Designer Planner at home over the last month and have found it really useful as a family planner for appointments and record keeping. I’ll definitely continue using the planner over the next year and hopefully it’ll help me feel a lot calmer with our busy lives.

The Life Designer Planner is available exclusively online and is priced at £30.

  4. I must admit I rely heavily on my Google calendar – it means my husband can see it all easily. I’m a bit rubbish about having a blog planner though.
Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested this week x

  5. Looks attractive. I’ve never found the need for a planner. But we do use a Family Organiser type calendar #Triedtested
