Our little break away in Wales over half term was a welcome break from the norm. It was a chance to escape the household chores, the daily routine and the clutter of Christmas and birthday gifts that have yet to find homes. It was time to spend lazy mornings and late evenings with my husband and Little Mr exploring somewhere new.

We loved exploring two difference beaches in South Wales; Llanelli and Trecco Bay. Little Mr loves putting his wellies on and jumping in puddles so I couldn’t wait to see him explore the beach with rockpools, shells and seaweed to discover.

It was sunny but very cold. We were wrapped up warm against the elements with hats, scarves and big coats to keep the chill out. We loved the beach and can’t wait to spend more time there over the next year or so.
