Last year, one of the blog photography projects that I absolutely loved following was Living Arrows. It’s a weekly look into the lives of children and it’s a brilliant way of being able to see the children grow each week. I really enjoyed seeing all my favourite bloggers showcase their little ones in Living Arrows last year, so I’m taking part this year.
It’s been a chilly start to the year and whilst we haven’t enjoyed as much of the outdoors as I would have liked, we did spend some time in the back yard tidying up the leaves and branches that have blown over and sorting out the mountain of recycling from the Christmas break. Little Mr was desperate to help Daddy in the garden and ran into the hallway to grab his wellies to put on his feet. He was adamant he was going out to help and as it was dry, I wrapped him up warm in his Christmas woolly cardigan, popped on a hat and off he toddled in his yellow wellies to help Daddy in the backyard.
He’s such a helpful little boy. He always fetches slippers or shoes from the hallway (even without asking for them which is a tad embarrassing when he would like visitors to leave!) and wants to help cook in the kitchen. It’s all very endearing and I do love how involved he likes to get. He especially likes to unload the dishwasher with me and says ‘ere are Mummy’ when picking up the mugs from the bottom rack of the dishwasher and placing them heavy handed on the kitchen worktop.
He’s learning so much at the moment, it’s really incredible with the sayings he’s coming out with or the knowledge he’s displaying. I’m a very proud Mummy and I’m really enjoying watching his learn, grow and develop.

I now have a very funny image of Olly bringing shoes to people when he’s had enough of their company!! He sounds like such a hoot!
