Halloween seems to be everywhere at the moment so when we were recently invited to take a look at this years range of Halloween goodies at Poundworld, we were excited to see what we would find. As Olly is only four years old, we took a look at some of the child-friendly Halloween goodies as there’s only so much blood and gore that his little imagination can take. There really is something for everyone in store ranging from the cartoon ghouls to the frighteningly realistic looking bloodied plastic fingers and scary face masks.

Olly and I visited our local Poundworld store in New Square, West Bromwich and I pretty much gave Olly free reign to pick out some Halloween bits and pieces for a small family Halloween party. There was so much choice including lots of party goodies including paper plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths and straws featuring the ghoultastic cartoon ghosts, pumpkins, spiders and bats that feature across the range.
So many Halloween decorations to choose from
There’s also lots of decorations for the perfect Halloween party at home with these fantastic spider lights, Halloween confetti, flickering tea lights, balloons and banners.

Olly took a fancy to the CAUTION: DO NOT ENTER tape and has asked me to put it across his bedroom door for Halloween!

Halloween Party Goodies
As well as party goodies, Poundworld stock a huge range of Halloween sweet treats. Olly picked up these chocolate pumpkins and squidgy eyes for the Trick or Treat bucket. We also made some disgusting googly eye jellies and decorated some fairy cakes with Halloween themed cake toppers.

We also loved the gingerbread decorating kit which turns gingerbread men into spooky skeletons, such an easy craft for little ones to do over half term, and delicious too!

Easy to decorate no carving required!
One of the best things we picked up was the easy to use pumpkin transfers. We had been pumpkin picking a couple of weeks before our visit to Poundworld and I wanted to do something a little but different with my pumpkin. The transfers are super easy to do, you just need to apply them with water and a sponge. After 20 seconds they paper will come away leaving the transfer on the pumpkin, isn’t it brilliant?

I did offer Olly the chance to pick up a Halloween costume from in-store but he’s a bit adverse to dressing up, so he picked up a couple of the spooky face masks instead which is as good as it’s going to get with him dressing up this year.

Of course, the best thing about the Halloween range from Poundworld is the price. Pretty much the whole range starts from £1 and you can pick up a huge basket full of Halloween goodies for a brilliant price. Head down to Poundworld for all your spooky Halloween bit and pieces this year, the range is fantastic!

We visited Poundworld too – it’s crazy the selection they have as I don’t think we bought anything similar to you. My kids are obvs older though and decided on a zombie/graveyard/serial killer theme!! Not sure if I should be worried about them! LOL
I love the idea of using transfers on pumpkins
Oh these are lovely Emma. I like the Halloween treats, and those pumpkin transfers are a great idea. The thing I hate about pumpkin carving is the waste, I’d much rather stick something on it and then be able to use the whole pumpkin.

I never really ‘did’ Halloween with my boys, but that’s probably because back then I didn’t have Poundworld to go to! These look great!
Oh I love the mask. Poundworld is brilliant for this sort of stuff. In Ireland it’s called Deals and I love getting little bits there. #triedtested
Ahh! What a lovely range. I love those spider lights. So cute! I am all for the child friendly things rather than the blood and gore. x #TriedTested
Olly has picked some great items here. I have young children too so these are the perfect Halloween bits for us. I love poundland for seasonal bits for kids. #triedandtested
