BTCC at Croft ✔️ Brilliant weekend with my mates BTCC at Croft ✔️

Brilliant weekend with my mates watching our teams do their thing, celebrating a P2 podium for @danielrowbottom.32, watching @asuttonracing get ever closer to securing the championship and filling up my cup with gratitude for some of the loveliest people in the paddock!

Genuinely feeling a little sad we’ve only got two race weekends left this season, I want to go back and do it all over again!

Ever grateful for the memories and the friendships 🫶🏻

AD | Apparently, having a 13-year-old means casual AD | Apparently, having a 13-year-old means casually handing them the keys to a car now?! 🚗😂 We headed to @youngdriveruk recently, where my teen got the chance to get behind the wheel and have a proper driving experience in a safe and controlled environment.

I’m not going to lie, watching your child drive an actual car when you still remember them learning to ride a bike is a slightly surreal parenting milestone. One minute you’re strapping them into a car seat, the next they’re adjusting the mirrors and checking their blind spots. HOW?! 😭

Thankfully, Young Driver is designed to give children and teenagers aged 9–17+ the chance to learn in a safe environment, building confidence and getting to grips with the basics long before the dreaded day they ask, “Can I borrow the car?” 🙄

With over 70 venues across the UK, it’s such a brilliant experience for any budding petrolhead counting down the days until they can get their licence.

He absolutely loved it. And also quietly calculating how many years I have left before I need to add him to my car insurance.. 🤨🙈

For younger siblings who refuse to be left out, children aged 4–8 can also get behind the wheel of Young Driver’s brand-new Firefly car, Freddie loved it and felt far too comfortable behind the wheel!

A brilliant experience, lots of fun and another reminder that they really do grow up far too quickly… even if I’m absolutely not emotionally prepared for it 🥹🚗💨

Use code YDEMMA10 for 10% off, until 30/10/26, for lessons taken before the end of the year (valid on lessons only excludes gift vouchers)

Sometimes you have a week that tests you in ways y Sometimes you have a week that tests you in ways you weren’t expecting. A few things haven’t gone how I’d hoped, and if I’m honest, it’s been a bit of a tough one 😞 But I’m trying to step back and look at the bigger picture.

Maybe the things that feel frustrating right now are actually clearing the path for something better. Maybe the plans that didn’t work out were never meant to. Maybe some doors closing are simply making room for the right ones to open ✨

I don’t have all the answers yet, but I do know this: not everything that feels like a setback is actually taking you backwards.

Sometimes life has a funny way of working in your favour… even when you can’t quite see it at the time.

Here’s to trusting the timing, always backing myself and remembering that things can fall apart and still somehow fall into place 💛

Last week felt like a bit of a milestone. Not beca Last week felt like a bit of a milestone. Not because of the number on the scales, but because I’m finally starting to see just how bloody stubborn I can be 🤨🔥

7 stone down and 18 minutes of actual running on Couch to 5K. And honestly? The biggest achievement is refusing to admit defeat 🙌🏻

I’ve had plenty of moments where stopping would have been easier. Where my brain has said “you’ve done enough”, my legs have said “absolutely not” and my stubborn side has said “well, now we’re definitely finishing this.” 😂🙈

I’m learning that progress doesn’t always look pretty. Sometimes it’s sweaty, uncomfortable, frustrating and fuelled almost entirely by sheer bloody-mindedness 💁🏼‍♀️

But I’m still here. Still pushing. Still proving to myself that I’m capable of more than I thought.
Turns out I’m not very good at giving up 🙅🏼‍♀️

And I’m starting to think that might be one of my best qualities. 🖤🔥

That’s Donington GP done for another year and ther That’s Donington GP done for another year and there’s only 3 race weekends left.. I’m not ready for the BTCC season to be over just yet 😭

This year following my team has been fantastic, nerve wracking, stressful and exciting but I’ve absolutely bloody loved it!

The results may not have always gone in our favour but the people I’ve met this season, had the chance to get to know and have shared some incredible moments of kindness have been up there for me! You’re absolutely the BEST people 🫶🏻 10/10 would recommend
I asked ChatGPT to describe me like they’re trying I asked ChatGPT to describe me like they’re trying to warn someone before they meet me.. this is what it said!

Consider yourself warned 😳

She’s funny, but not in a polite little chuckle over coffee kind of way. More in a you’ll accidentally spend six hours with her and wonder where the evening went kind of way 😂

She’s fiercely independent, stubborn as hell and has absolutely no intention of shrinking herself to make someone else comfortable. She’s survived enough plot twists to know her worth now which is inconvenient if you were hoping for someone easily impressed 💁🏼‍♀️

She’ll flirt with you, tease you, probably make you laugh when you’re trying very hard not to, and then casually say something so brutally perceptive you’ll need a minute to recover 🙊

She loves hard. Laughs loudly. Says what she thinks. Notices everything. And if she likes you? You’ll know 👀

But here’s the real warning: don’t mistake her softness for weakness. She can be warm, affectionate and ridiculously loyal while simultaneously being perfectly capable of walking away when you give her a reason ✌🏻

She’s got a mischievous streak, a competitive side, far too much determination and the dangerous confidence of a woman who has finally realised she doesn’t need anyone’s permission to be herself. So, yes… meet her. Just don’t expect to leave exactly as you arrived 💛
