1. I usually start my Christmas shopping at the end of November to give me plenty of time to wrap it all.

2. September so it is all done before December. I like to enjoy December without rushing around the shops.

3. I usually start really late! November usually because I use the bulk of my Christmas bonus from work to pay for it! I do however try to buy things that I see in sales throughout the year but end up giving them as birthday gifts sometimes !

I do keep an eye on what I have already and make a little note of who I’ve still to buy for and what I think I’m getting them. Hubby and I don’t bother getting each other anything, we’re both happy with this as if we want anything we usually just get it.

I don’t necessarily have a particular person in mind for it, I just feel it would make a nice present for someone in the family. The ‘big’ items I leave till much later in the year, possibly November. To avoid disappointment on the day, we always check with each other if there’s anything particular they have their eye on; if not, it’s usually a gift of money so they can take their time and perhaps snap up a real bargain in the sales.
