I was recently sent some exceedingly good cakes from the kind souls at Mr Kipling. I was sent a box of delicious Viennese Whirls, a box of French Fancies and a box of Cherry Bakewells.
We all know that too much cake is bad for us but I am a big believer that a little bit of what you fancy does you good. They’re a little treat to make us smile and that’s the best thing about these little cakes, they can be enjoyed in moderation.

For me, I like to make sure I enjoy my treats and get the most from them. I love cake but I have to make them last. On the diet plan I’m following, I can enjoy cake but I need to syn them to make sure they’re within my allowance and they’re not going to compromise my weight loss. My favourite are Viennese Whirls as you can split them in half and you have two biscuits with a delicious jam and cream filling. My syns are enjoyed much better with cake. Yum!
Mr Kipling cakes and SW syns
French Fancies = 5 1/2 syns
Cherry Bakewell = 10 syns
Carrot Slices = 7 syns
Remember you can enjoy cake and lose weight but you need to enjoy them in moderation (it makes them last longer!) Weight loss is definitely #betterwithcake

I think the key to weight loss is to allow yourself the occasional treat too. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part.
