A few years ago, a local company asked me to come up with some ideas for a Halloween tea party. Unfortunately they’re no longer trading so I can’t link to them, but we did pick up some brilliant Halloween bits and pieces and I made some fantastic spooky treats for us all to enjoy.

We made Batman cheese topped pizza breads, Mummy Dogs (Frankfurter sausages wrapped in strips of pastry and decorated with eyes), Scary Strawberries and Mud Pies complete with wriggly worms.

Olly and I both made the food for the tea party, I hoped that if he took an interest in it, he might want to try it? Ha, who am I kidding! It looked pretty good though. We made batman pizzas and mummy dogs, followed by screaming strawberries, banana ghouls and dirt desserts with hidden wiggly worms. We even made bat biscuits using a cookie cutter and our favourite biscuit recipe.

Spot Olly’s ghastly banana ghouls!

I am so fond of those little mummy dogs, they’re super cute! We could have really gone overboard with the food ideas as there’s so much to choose from.
