Taking the stress out of the Christmas cooking with Bacofoil®

In less than two weeks, it’ll be Christmas Day and the family will be round for gifts, family fun and of course, Christmas dinner. For a lot of people cooking the Christmas dinner can be really stressful, there’s timings to consider, multiple saucepans on the hob as well as the turkey cooking in the oven, there’s so much going on all at the same time. But there is help at hand, Bacofoil® has some fantastic food preparation products that can help you nail the Christmas dinner, giving you more time to spend with your family and friends.

Bacofoil Christmas

Bacofoil® is my go to brand when it comes to Christmas cooking. Their products are trusted by millions of households up and down the country to help prepare, cook and store food quickly, easily and safely. It’s not just the Christmas diner they can help with but here’s how they can help you this Christmas.

Time for Turkey

When it comes to cooking the Christmas Turkey, I am always a little weary about making sure it’s cooked correctly. It’s the hero of the meal so it has to be cooked correctly and thoroughly. Using Bacofoil® The Turkey Roasting Tray is the easiest way to cook the meat. It’s a premium strength tray that is large enough to cook a family sized turkey and it is easy and fuss-free to use. It’s recyclable so there’s no washing up and you can even store the leftover turkey in the tray afterwards. Just cover with The Turkey Roasting Foil and pop in the fridge for the buffet later.

Bacofoil® The Turkey Roasting Foil is a great addition to making sure your turkey is cooked through. It’s extra wide which helps cover the largest bird and will help seal in any juices and flavours. I used it to cook my pre-Christmas dinner recently and it really helped to cook the turkey to perfection. You can use Bacofoil® The Turkey Roasting Foil to cover food in the oven and the grill (and of course the leftovers in the fridge).

Perfecting the sides

No Christmas dinner would be complete without our favourite sides. My family’s favourite is pigs in blankets and roast potatoes, they cannot get enough of them. That’s why I use Bacofoil® The Non-Stick Kitchen Foil with it’s unique BacoLift® surface which stops the food from sticking, meaning the family get to eat every bit.

The unique BacoLift® surface also takes away the need for any additional butter or oil. Make sure you use it with the non-shiny side face up, as this is the non-stick side. Using The Non-Stick Kitchen Foil also means you can just lift up the foil at the end and throw it away meaning less time spent washing up and more time with the family.

Christmas baking done easy

Whilst we are usually too full from Christmas dinner for dessert, we do like to enjoy a festive biscuit or two with a mug of coffee later in the day. I love to make gingerbread as it’s quick and easy to do but you can create some fantastic results with it for festive baking.

Bacofoil Christmas

This year I’ve used Bacofoil® Non-Stick Baking Paper to help me create this gingerbread star tree, a quick and easy way to make biscuits that the whole family will enjoy. The Bacofoil® Non-Stick Baking Paper has an innovative and unique textured surface on both sides so it is easy to use and  you can achieve great results every time.

Bacofoil Christmas

The Bacofoil® Non-Stick Baking Paper is a great product which is hassle free, my gingerbread stars just slid off the paper, there was no need to chisel away at them to free them from the tray (you can sense my delight after many years of baking disasters!)

Cooking Christmas dinner doesn’t need to be stressful if you use the right products in the preparation. I am all about the preparation and saving myself the stress and frustration on the day. You can pick up Bacofoil® products in most supermarkets so pop them in your trolley when you do the Christmas food shop to make sure you’re prepared for stress-free baking!

My favourite side dish at Christmas is prunes stuffed with shallots and wrapped in bacon. LUSH.
