Our Shilton Boys // April 2018

April Siblings // This is our fourth link up to the Siblings series and I’m loving seeing the photographs of my boys together and it’s fair to say that they’re well and truly loving each other. Freddie loves Olly and is always smiling at him and following his big brother around the room with his eyes. Olly has continued to love Freddie like he did the first day he met him but these days as Freddie is learning to do something new, Olly is enjoying the increasing interaction with his little brother.

So far this month, Olly and Freddie both enjoyed their first swim of the year (we really must take Olly more!) We were at Crewe Hall hotel and as they had a pool, we bought the boys matching swimwear. Oh my days, they’re so cute, I could just munch them. It was Freddie’s first dip in any swimming pool so it was lovely to mark the occasion with a matchy match swimsuit photo!

Freddie 3 months old

Olly loved seeing Freddie in the water. Freddie wasn’t too sure at first but soon enjoyed it as I pranced around the pool making silly whooshing noises and bobbing up and down. He lasted a good 25 minutes in the water before flaking out on a lounger at the side of the pool. I can’t wait to do it again!

It’s been the Easter holidays here and Olly goes back to school tomorrow. Both Freddie and I will miss Olly’s company. Olly is fantastic with Freddie if I need the toilet / a shower / need to answer the door / put the kettle on. He’s always willing to lend a hand and watch over Freddie for us. He read him a lovely story earlier this week whilst I quickly had a shower and I was expecting to come out the shower to tears but no, Freddie was happily watching Olly reading and looked like he was soaking up every word!

Shilton boys April

I am in no way wishing time away but these two are going to be brilliant together when Freddie’s a bit older. I’m hopeful their bond will grow stronger and they’ll want to play and annoy each other. I can see them both gang up on me in the future but to be honest, they’ve already got me hook, line and sinker! I do love my Shilton boys.

The boys look so adorable in their matching swimming costumes! It’s amazing the bond between siblings, isn’t it? Even by just following Olly around the room with his eyes, your little man is already showing how much he looks up to his big brother. It’s fascinating to observe that bond that grows and grows. xx #siblingsproject
