#SlimmingSunday (Week 11 – 2017)

I’m a bit disappointed with myself this week. I haven’t got myself out and finished week one of #C25k. I’ve not been feeling too brilliant, I’ve been working late in the evenings to get freelance work complete which has tired me out for the following day. Combined with my home life being particularly hectic this week, I have just run out of time. And the weather has been rubbish, I’m such a fair weather jogger! I will definitely try harder this week. I even bought myself some new headphones so I don’t need to borrow my husbands.

I did however lose 2.5lb at weigh in this week which I was particularly delighted with. That’s 6lb in two weeks. Although going on previous weigh ins, I’m bound to stay the same or put on next week!

I’ve got afternoon tea for my friends 40th birthday later today so I’m hoping to be as on plan as possible around the tea and cake for the rest of the week.

Shilts has gained a little bit this week following our weekend away last week however, he smashed his PB at the Parkrun this morning by nearly 2 minutes so I’m very proud of him! He’s trying his best to lose the weight and improve his fitness and he’s a great example that men can do Slimming World too!

    Wow 6lbs in 2 weeks is really good, you must be so chuffed! Life does get too busy sometimes and I think we beat ourselves up too much for it, we can’t do everything as we aren’t superhuman. Enjoy your afternoon tea

    Well done on the weight loss! And well done to Shilts too, that’s awesome about his Parkrun.

    I can’t wait to do the C25k again once my baby is born, everyone seems to be doing it right now! And I’m a bit of a weirdo – I prefer running when the weather is rubbish, even in the rain, compared to when it’s sunny!
