Inspired by the lovely Mrs M for mentioning me on her blog, I’m sharing a bit of blog love today. It’s very easy to do and it’s always great to share some of my favourite posts this month with you lovely peeps so you can go and enjoy them too. I don’t think we share enough as bloggers so will be making a proper effort to get more involved and share the love.
First up is from Lauren at You Big Eejit – An Eejit in Australia Cairns. Lauren and her husband have just come back from the most amazing honeymoon in Australia and her post is full of beautiful pictures of the Great Barrier Reef and lovely Lauren herself holding a koala bear. It looks absolutely stunning over there and I’d love to visit there one day.
Next on my hit list is from Jen at Instinctive Mum – Collaboration. Jen discusses the old chestnut of School holidays and Teachers. As a wife of a Teacher it frustrates me so much that we are expected to pay premium prices for our holidays as we can’t take time out at any other time of the year yet I can understand why parents take their children out of school to go on holiday, the budgets are tight enough as it is so as long as the parents make an effort for their children to catch up what they’ve missed in school, why can’t they take them on holiday at their discretion.
The next blog I love reading is from Pippa at Red Rose Mummy. Pippa is a lady who knows her stuff, she has many fingers in many pies and she’s always so bloody lovely whenever I need a bit of blogging advice or help. This week Pippa got to go and watch Gok in Manchester and she’s shared some snaps of her week as part of the 365 Project.
Now if you haven’t yet read any of the posts from these lovely pair, where have you been? Kirsty and Clara of My Two Mums, are first time mummies to Monkey, a gorgeous little boy a few months older than Little Mr. I love this post by Kirsty – My womb is happy to stay empty as it’s a fabulously honest and open post and it’s so clear to see how much love there is for their son regardless of genetics.
The last blog on my list is from Jade at Late for Reality. She’s a new first time mummy to her little boy Ted and her post about returning to work really struck a chord with me – Worries of a wannabe SAHM. I’ll be going back to work in October so know exactly how she feels. I too don’t want to miss out on anything that Little Mr gets up to but along with the rest of the UK, times are tough and needs must.
That’s my July round up. Please go and check the blog posts out if you haven’t already and I’ll be sharing more next month.
