Taking on the Aldi Mamia nappyometer challenge

For the month of May, Little Mr and I are taking on the Aldi Mamia nappyometer challenge. Aldi have challenged us to swap our usual nappies for Aldi Mamia nappies for one whole month and let them know how we get on.

We’ve used Aldi Mamia nappies before and we weren’t disappointed. We used their size 2 newborn nappies in the early days and we had no leaks so I have similar hopes for the next size up nappies.

We’ve been stocked up on Mamia Ultra Dry Midi nappies (size 3) and we’re ready to embrace the month ahead. I’m anticipating more frequent nappy changes (thanks to the effects of teething) and as Little Mr is sleeping longer through the night now, we’ll see how the nappies shape up for the long haul.

Check back at the end of May to see how we get on and how the nappies shape up!

Disclaimer: We were sent a months worth of nappies from Aldi for the purpose of this challenge. All words and images are my own.

I’m interested to read your review on these. Trying to cut back on shopping costs at the moment. Have started to buy some supermarket own-brand nappies but most are rubbish.

We’ve been using own brand over the other branded nappies and probably will continue to. So far so good.

We don’t have an Aldi near us in NI otherwise I’d give these ago. It sounds like they’re great anyway. I’ve found the ASDA own brand are just as good too. When JD was born I was only using pampers and then decided to try own brands – definitely makes a difference to the shopping bill and are still just as good! x

I like the aldi nappies and am currently on size 4 with my 7 month old. There are no leaks through the night and last she did 13 hours. I do find they come up small in comparison to pampers. They say they are up to 40lbs and my little girl is 17lb 15oz and there is no way she will be in them at 40lbs.

Oh that’s interesting to know. We tried No.3 Pampers Nappies at the baby show yesterday and they fitted well. One size doesn’t really fit all does it?
