and the scales said…

I sneaky peeked this morning before work so kind of knew what the damage would be. It looked like a 5lb gain. Ouch. The scales at weigh in said a significant gain of 6lb! I wasn’t shocked but I am even more prepared now to make a difference this week.

We’ve got our meals planned for the week ahead (I did do this Sunday but didn’t post Meal Planning Monday as I was still feeling a bit bleugh!)

Tuesday: Low fat cumberland sausages, mashed potato and vegetables
Wednesday: Vegetable lasagne (WW recipe from Good Food booklet sent to me by the lovely Lisa)
Thursday: Meatballs with tomatoey pasta (another WW recipe from Good Food booklet)
Friday: Cod in a lemon and herb bag, potatoes and vegetables
Saturday: Italian Chicken with basmati rice

I’m aiming to get out walking at least 5 out of 7 days this week and hope to do at least 3 Zumba sessions (either on wii or actual classes, I might actually be brave enough to try a new class!).

I’ve realised this past week that I do love my routine, it helps me plan and be organised. It helps me stay on track and focused. It might need shaking up a little sometimes but I do love sticking to what I know best. I know WW works and I know that I can’t eat crappy foods and expect to get away with it.

This week I’m back on it. There’s no more chocolate in the house (with my name on!), no more luscious Haribo (I donated my sweets to my nephew’s birthday party bags) and replaced them with WW Fruit Bears (1 packet = 2pp) and have stocked up on WW crisps (5 bags for £2 from the shop at our meeting).

I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone for tweeting me this afternoon after I confessed my weight gain on Twitter. I accept that this is a blip and I can get back on track and repair the damage. Thank you for all your lovely comments, they really do help me a lot!  I’ll leave you with some inspiration I was sent earlier by Rach (@FatToFab31), thank you and how true?

Have a good week everyone {sig}

    I love your attitude! You just keep going no matter what! I reckon you could be retaining water if you have been on the sweets/chocs! I weighed myself twice today and there was a difference of 5 pounds! I was lighter in the evening! Amazing how water will flush out the crap!

    Glad that picture helped honey, I keep a stack for exactly that reason – when I need some motivation! Glad to hear you’re back on track now x
