Popped to @mcarthurglenwestmidlands to return something, looked around the shops to check out all the AW stuff and enjoyed an hour of peace and quiet!

Lots of ideas picked up for the boys for Christmas too, won’t be long until the pretty lights return but I’m not ready to embrace it just yet..

A spontaneous Saturday in the Peak District, walking the Stepping Stones trail with my boy 🥾🌿

No itinerary, no rushing around, no-one asking what time we’re leaving for the next thing. Just fresh air, muddy paths, a bit of exploring and enjoying the freedom of a no-plan Saturday.

These are the days I love most. The ones that weren’t organised weeks in advance, but somehow end up being exactly what we needed 👌🏻

And getting to spend the day with my teen, who is growing up FAR too quickly, makes it even better 🫶🏻

Fresh air, good company and absolutely no idea what we’re doing tomorrow, bliss!

First full week back at school for the boys, new routines to settle in to with breakfast club & afterschool clubs. Different PE days, new teachers and early mornings! This is me. And honestly, I don’t know how two such completely different sides of me coexist… but they do 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I’m the girl who gets ridiculously excited by all things BTCC, lives for the on-track battles, thrives on the noise and chaos of the garage and could happily spend an entire weekend surrounded by engines, tyres and adrenaline🏁🔥

But I’m also the girl who needs the opposite; Sunsets. Open skies. Trees. Fresh air. Quiet moments. Nature. The kind of calm where there’s nothing to hear except the world around you 🌅🌿

I crave the adrenaline and the stillness.
The chaos and the calm.
The noise and the silence.

I’m not one or the other.

I’m both. And maybe that’s the most ‘me’ thing about me 🤍🏁🌿
