Last week on the scales I saw a half a pound gain and although it was expected, I wasn’t impressed with myself. I had a cross word with myself and vowed to get back on it Wednesday morning and get my head back on plan. I did just that and this week lost 3lb. I was happy with that!

Looking back over the week, I’ve had a good week on plan. All my treats have been synned and enjoyed. I’ve cut back on carbs this week and I think that has helped me. Where the rest of the family have had potato or rice, I’ve had swede mash or salad. I did enjoy a small handful of actifry chips on Saturday evening and really appreciated them. It’s amazing how much you can enjoy something when  you haven’t had them for a while.

When I’m following the SP element of the SW plan, I pick foods that are speed foods (low in calories) and full of protein (which is very filling) combining these together allows you to have a big meal full of filling foods that are quite low in calories. SW advise not to follow SP everyday as you still need some carbs in your diet but a few days out of the week can help with weightloss.

There’s 9 weigh ins until our friends wedding in June and 11 more weigh ins until BritmumsLive. I’d love to be at least 2 stone lighter by then. I’d hopefully be back into the smaller clothes in my wardrobe and feel a lot more comfortable in my skin.

I love looking back at photographs and seeing how far I’ve come and this photographer does make me realise just how far I’ve come. I started back in August 2014 and since then, over 34 weeks, I’ve lost 60.5lb. I’m still overweight, I’m still classed as obese on the BMI scale but I can see a difference!

I’m wearing clothes which are now 2 sizes different and I do feel lots better. I don’t feel like my neck is being swallowed up by fat and I don’t feel like such a blob. It’s amazing looking back as I remember having this photograph taken and I didn’t think I looked too bad. Gosh, I really did!

Anyway, comparison photographs are hugely helpful to me and they do make me appreciate how much weight I’ve lost over the last seven months. It’s good to see the difference and actually see a real difference. Have a good week every one.

How awesome must you feel looking at these photos? I’m so pleased for you, and so inspired also. I’m jumping back on the SW wagon when little man is here and settled. You’re such an inspiration. X

  2. You look AMAZING! Doing so well. I’ve decided that carbs are not good either, switching to wholewheat and also cutting back, want to try SP this week as not tried it before. After being ill for over 2 weeks I have put on but I am really ready to get stuck back in!
