Team Shilts recently entered the Tots100 and Center Parcs blogger competition and unfortunately, we were unsuccessful but not to worry, we still want to win so here’s our November challenge entry written by Little Mr (okay, it’s written by Mummy but inspired by Little Mr’s view of the park)
This Autumn I’m just a baby
Watching the world from my pushchair
The park looks so inviting
I can’t wait to toddle over there
The pile of fallen leaves look exciting
And the giant muddy puddles too
Splish splash squelch squelch
There’s so much to look at and do
The slide is busy
But the swings are free
Daddy pushes me high
Mummy, Mummy look at me
Next year I’ll be able to stomp through the leaves
In my brand new welly boots
I’ll be wrapped up warm in my hat and scarf
And in my cosy waterproof suit.
The weather might be chilly
but the sunshine is quite bright
Come on everybody, lets get outside
Lets play until night night.

Our favourite tip from Center Parcs Whinfell Forest’s resident nature expert and Conservation Ranger Emma Tapp, is to play outside – it’s great to get wrapped up warm and embrace the chilly weather. Fresh air does everyone the world of good and as long as we are warm and comfortable there’s nothing stopping us.
This is my entry to the Center Parcs and Tots 100 November challenge. If I’m chosen, I would like to visit Sherwood Forest. Thanks
