Olly has discovered a love of colouring recently and these new sticker colouring books from Orchard Toys have gone down really well on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

We were sent two different sticker colouring books to check out which are aimed at children aged three plus; Make Believe and Animals.

Animals sticker colouring book

Olly really loves animals so he’s really enjoyed looking at all the drawings, telling me what animals are on the page and telling me what colours they need to be. Although we’ve had a black and orange parrot and a green and brown lion, bringing creativity to life.

Make Believe sticker colouring book

The Make Believe colouring book features dragons, pirates, witches and wizards as well as aliens, unicorns and mermaids. Olly’s had a lot of fun colouring in their outfits and asking me lots of questions about what these fairytale characters do and say.

The sticker colouring books also feature a couple of pages of easy peel coloured stickers that match outlines in the book so little ones can have a look through and match the coloured sticker to the outline of the sticker on the page. Of course, little ones imaginations can run wild and that’s just an idea of what you can do with the stickers. Olly has created a page full of stickers whilst telling me the story of a bat who flew into building on the way to the moon! I love listening to him making up stories. It’s brilliant!

Olly has spent a good half an hour colouring in one of the pages in the book. His attention span and concentration has really come on in the last few months and he’s now attempting to colour in within the lines and make it as neat as he can. I think he’s doing really well and he loves to see the end result of the picture all coloured in.

Price

The sticker colouring books are priced at £3.99 each which I think is quite good value for money. The pages are a brilliant quality as are the stickers and Olly has loved colouring them in and using them as a lazy Sunday activity. Another great product from Orchard Toys.
