Week 41 on the Slimming World scales


Slimming World Update: Week 41 – current weightloss: 4 stone 5lb

Last week when I stayed the same on the scales, if I’m honest I was really disappointed but if I’ve learnt anything from the SW plan it’s to keep on going. Keep eating the right foods, plan your meals, eat your Healthy Extra’s, enjoy foods within your syns allowance, drink plenty of water but most of all just keep going. It is so easy to fall off track and say sod it but ultimately it’s not going to help on the scales. I’m only human so of course I have to remind myself daily what my ultimate goal is and what I want to achieve.

This week was one of those weeks where I started off feeling a bit down and unenthusiastic but I still made wise choices and instagrammed all my meals. By Saturday I had 4 decent days on plan, I even had a couple of slices of weighed white crusty bread which came out of my syns allowance on Friday daytime but by Saturday evening I just wanted to eat everything in sight. I had eaten a couple of chicken McNuggets (1.5 syns each) with a bag of crisps, 8 mini eggs for 6 syns and a Hotel Chocolat chocolate truffle. I had to write it all down and then forced myself to stop eating and had a glass of squash instead.

Despite a completely and utterly rubbish day on Monday (you can read more here) and the arrival of my monthly, I stayed on plan and was delighted to see on the scales that I had lost 3.5lb this week smashing my four and a half stone award and some… BOOM!

I cannot tell you of the relief to see a decent weightloss on those scales. I was delighted. Even more delighted that I was given the Slimmer of the Week award too! Hello shiny certificates, so nice to see you! In the past I have really sabotaged myself with comfort eating. It’s something I still do but not to the extent that I used to. I know when to stop now and what the consequences are.

I’m ploughing on now with my FIVE STONE award in mind. I’ve got 5.5lb to lose and I’m going for it. I want that award! It’s my friends wedding in 2 weeks time so I’m still hoping to achieve that goal and look slinkier in my dress. I also have killer heels to wear so need to be as light as possible on those bad boys!

This week I’m planning on sticking to plan, eating the meals we already have ingredients in for and resisting temptation at CBeebies land at the weekend. Sounds like a plan eh!

    Aww you’ve got fab progress. I have done SW before and did well. Think it is time I get back to get some weight off for summer.

    What inspration you have given me .. Im a New Commer to SW and i have lost 4half pound in two weeks i hope to go down the path you have taken amazing weight loss well done .. Your SP weeks have spured me on no end .. Well done to you and rhanks for the blogxx
